A short note is the right way to reach Marco before the page is over — a piece you want a second eye on, an occasion ahead, or a closet you would like to rework.
He is at his desk most days. Every message lands there first and is read by him before it is answered — nothing is forwarded, nothing is queued for an assistant.
The reply is unhurried and in his own voice. If the note is brief, the reply will be brief; if there is a cloth to look at, the reply will look at it.
The note
Marco reads each note personally; the reply is unhurried and in his own voice.
The note is the longest part of the conversation. The reply is often shorter — and almost always in the same voice as the note you wrote.
